In October 2023, the export volume and amount of commercial vehicles in China increased by 8.7% and 31.7% year-on-year, respectively, to 54000 vehicles and 11.13 billion yuan. Among them, 49000 trucks and 5000 buses were exported respectively, with year-on-year growth rates

Reached 5.4% and 52.3% respectively. As of October 2023, China has exported a total of 594000 commercial vehicles, with a total export value of 116.28 billion yuan, an increase of 19.7% and 64.1% respectively compared to the same period last year.

It is the tenth year since the the Belt and Road Initiative was put forward in 2013. So far, the the Belt and Road has covered 152 countries and regions along the Belt and Road. Through infrastructure construction, trade cooperation and people to people and cultural exchanges, the the Belt and Road Initiative has become one of the key drivers of global economic development, and has had a far-reaching positive impact on China's exports.

The the Belt and Road countries are the key export regions of China's commercial vehicles. From January to October 2023, China's commercial vehicle exports a total of 464000 vehicles to the Belt and Road countries, an increase of 18.9% year on year, accounting for 78.2% of China's commercial vehicle exports. The cumulative export amount is 99 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 75.2%, accounting for 85.1% of the overall export amount.

In recent years, countries along the the Belt and Road have always been the main export base of China's commercial vehicles, accounting for 85.2% of the total in 2019. With the impact of demand recovery and supply chain problems after the epidemic in various countries, China's export demand for commercial vehicles to various regions will surge from 2021-2022, and the proportion of the Belt and Road countries in the overall export volume of commercial vehicles will decline, but they are still in an important position. In terms of amount, the proportion of China's exports to the region from January to October this year has exceeded that of 2019 (83.8%).
