There are many types of tire usage, including those caused by wheelbase, balance beams, air pressure, steel rims, spring arches, inconsistent tires on one axle, brakes, improper tire selection, tire quality, and deformation of the trailer body, Also, it is caused by incorrect adjustment of the wheelbase. Because the causes of each phenomenon are different, it requires us to search for the corresponding reasons based on different phenomena.

Some maintenance jobs now offer a simple solution to tire problems by replacing the rubber sleeve and adjusting the AB line (also known as diagonal). This kind of maintenance can only solve the problem of tire ingestion caused by wheelbase reasons, but there are still many cases where tire ingestion is not caused by wheelbase. Therefore, it is necessary to look at what kind of tire ingestion it is, and then find the corresponding cause based on this phenomenon. 1. Unilateral wear:

1.1 All tires on one side of the vehicle have regular wear and tear, which is a typical damage to the rubber sleeve of the thrust rod. The solution is to replace the rubber sleeve and adjust the wheelbase. (The rubber sleeve must be replaced regularly or according to the mileage traveled)

When the camber angle of the current wheel is too large, early wear occurs on the outer edge of the tire, and when the camber angle is too small or not present, early wear occurs on the inner edge of the tire.

1.3 Propulsion angle error: If the current toe is in the positive position, it will cause lateral wear on the outer side of the tire in the direction of propulsion; When the current beam is negative, it will cause the inner side of the direction wheel in the opposite direction of propulsion to wear out; When the front toe is zero, it will cause tire wear in both directions on the propulsion side

1.4 Check for deformation of the front axle and steering knuckle main pin. It can also cause abnormal wear on the inner or outer edges of the tires on one side of the steering axle

2. Bilateral wear:

2.1. If two or four tires on a bridge have regular and uniform tire feeding on both sides, first check whether the riding bolt of the spring bow plate is loose and whether the center bolt of the bow plate is broken. If there are any problems, carry out corresponding repairs.

2.2 If a single or multiple tires have regular wear on both sides of the tire, and the edges on both sides of a tire are regular and the width is basically the same on a single tire, the cause of the bow plate can be ruled out as insufficient tire pressure.
